  • Condition: The top edge of the glass display appears to have "chips" in it all along the width of the unit. These chips are on the top edge of the glass, not the front of the glass but they are noticeable from the front. Otherwise this CD Player is in very good cosmetic condition and works great! I powered it up and played multiple CD's. See pics for details.

    Philips/Marantz CD-80 Audiophile Compact Disc CD Player & Manual Excellent Cond!  No remote.  It is badged Philips but is also rebranded as Marantz CD-80.

    This CD Player is a consideration for audiophiles, probably one of the best models ever produced by Philips. Deploying the highly acclaimed Philips Crown TDA-1541A DAC coupled with the Philips well designed CDM1-MK2 Laser Pickup Transport System. You can use this CD-80 as either a CD player, or as a stand-alone CD Transport and outboard its digital output to an external DAC. If weight is indicative to deck stability, this deck weighs heavily at a hefty 15Kg! Admittedly, this is an high-end audiophile CD Deck, with the much talked about the legendary Philips Crown TDA-1541A DAC sonic signature.
    Condition:
